Kids Safety Town 2026

Join us for Stayton's Kids Safety Town!

Safety Town is weeklong, half-day summer camp for children ages five and six.  The Stayton Public Library and Stayton Police Department partner together to help kids better understand the basics of safety.

Safety Town will run from Monday, August 17, 2026 through Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Stayton Community Center, 400 W. Virginia Street, Stayton, OR 97383.

Campers will learn important safety concepts, such as:

  • 911
  • Bike, Pedestrian, and School Bus Safety
  • Fire and Water Safety
  • Internet Safety
  • Animal Safety
  • Poison Awareness
  • Police and Trusted Friends
  • and so much more!

Registration for Campers is Now Open!

Registration is $15 and will remain open through August 3 or until full.

Camper registration requires a parent/guardian signature.

We are currently accepting applications for volunteer counselors, ages 11-18.
