
Throughout the Summer we will have several take-and-make kits available for all ages. Each week you will be able to pick up an activities kit with materials to take and make at home. Kits will be available at a drive-thru (or walk-up) event on the date and times below, but any extras can be picked up throughout that week while supplies last. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll have available and when:

Kids STEAM-to-go: Exploring the visible Spectrum
Experiment with ways your eyes see color, and explore how to code the rainbow!
Teens & Adults: Birdwatching & Birdseed Cookie
This kit includes information about birdwatching and supplies to make a birdseed ornament.
Oregon’s Dino-Story - Activity kit
Uncover the mystery of Oregon’s dinosaur history! We’ve partnered with UOs Museum of Natural and Cultural History for this dino-mite adventure and explore the clues that fossils reveal about Oregon during the Age of Dinosaurs.

Kids STEAM-to-go: Upcycled Paper Crafts
Make rainbow paper, and upcycle used paper scraps into something new!
For Teens Only - Wreck this Journal!
In this kit create your own journal that you get to wreck... with creativity and art! In your kit you will get a blank book and prompts to inspire your creativity.

Kids STEAM-to-go: Lights and Shadows
Become a human sundial, and explore the shapes made by shadows! Can you guess which shapes are in the shadows?
The Power of Plants! Family Activity Kit
Natural heroes are growing all around us! We’ve partnered with UOs Museum of Natural and Cultural History to bring you a science adventure and to celebrate the power of plants through experiments, crafts, and other hands-on fun!

Oregon’s Amazing Animals - Family Activity Kit
From tiny horses to giant sloths, discover the incredible variety of life in Oregon, both past and present. We’ve partnered with UOs Museum of Natural and Cultural History to bring you a fun, hands-on activity kit to explore adaptations that help animals survive and thrive in diverse habitats like oceans, forests, and rivers.
