We are excited to have Ed Babcock join our patrol team at Stayton Police Department. Ed was officially sworn in on January 25. He comes to us with some patrol experience and is currently assigned a field training officer and will work through our field training program.
After graduating from Lebanon High School, he served in the Marines for 4 years. Following the Marines, he earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Linn Benton Community College. He worked at Oregon Youth Authority in Albany for 15 years during which time he also took classes at University of Phoenix and earned a bachelor’s degree in CJ.
He joins our team of 13 sworn members.
