2025-26 Community Improvement Grants - Final Allocations

At its December 1, 2025 meeting, Stayton City Council awarded the following 2025-2026 Community Improvement Grants:

  • Table Tennis Pioneer Park - Install outdoor table tennis and corn hole games at Pioneer Park to encourage community recreation and connection - $4,825.01 awarded

  • Santiam Teen Center - Improve Santiam Teen Center’s accessibility by weatherizing and securing its ADA ramp and outdoor deck - $1,100 awarded

  • Flowing Through Time II - Add three new mural areas celebrating Stayton’s history, Kalapuya heritage, and community creativity in downtown’s Flowing Through Time series - $4,350 awarded

  • Brown House Landscape Maintenance - Restore and maintain Brown House landscaping with professional weeding, trimming, composting, and bark application - $2,000 awarded

  • Spotlight Community Theater Safety - Upgrade Spotlight Theater’s lighting and install an ADA sink to improve safety, accessibility, and performance quality - $4,925.21 awarded

  • Saving Lives - Provide low-cost community training in CPR, AED use, first aid, and emergency response to save lives - $2,000 awarded

  • North Santiam Service Integration - Support North Santiam Service Integration Team providing emergency aid and essential services to vulnerable Stayton residents - $1,200 awarded
