With cooperative weather, the city will be paving the sanitary sewer trench in the westbound lane on W Ida Street on November 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, 2023. The work is expected to be completed in one day. During the paving work, Ida St. will be closed from W Washington St. to 500’ west of Holly Ave. Once the day to perform the work is scheduled, the city will post a notice on Facebook and the city’s website.
Local access only will be assisted in and out of the construction zone with a pilot car. Flaggers will be stationed at Oak, Noble, and King Avenues to the south of Ida St. to assist as well. Oak, Noble, Larch, and Myrtle Avenues to the north of Ida St. will be closed to traffic at Ida St. Longer than normal delays should be expected. Please exercise caution and patience during the paving work.
