Accessible from all Library computers, Ancestry Library is an indispensable resource for genealogists and historians. Sources include: censuses, vital records, immigration records, family histories, military records, court and legal documents, directories, photos and maps. You can find a video tutorial through the CCRLS catalog under Resource Guides, use the Learning Center at Ancestry Library, or get help from Library staff.

In addition, the Stayton Public Library owns microfilm of the Stayton Mail. Early issues can be found through Historic Oregon Newspapers (oregonnews.uoregon.edu) thanks to the Santiam Historical Society.
