Who Lived There? A Stayton History Presentation

The Stayton Public Library is excited to announce the upcoming Stayton history presentation “Who Lived There” with Carol Zolkoske on Thursday, July 13 at 7:00 pm in the E. G. Siegmund Meeting Room. There will be a reception accompanying the event.

Local historian Carol Zolkoske will be giving a presentation on Stayton’s historical houses and the families that lived there. She has lived in the Stayton area since 1971. She has been a member of the Friends of the Library since the mid-70s when the Library was in the Woman’s Club Building on 2nd Ave. She is also a founding member of the St. Boniface Archives and Museum and the Santiam Heritage Foundation. The Santiam Heritage Foundation is restoring the Charles and Martha Brown House, a work in progress since 2000.
