Lovely letters from… the squirrels?
Our local squirrels noticed the Stayton Public Library’s storytimes happening in the Community Center Park and want to play and learn too! Children can write them a letter, and they may write back. As the squirrels respond each week, their letters will be read aloud during storytimes!

Stop by the Children’s desk at the Stayton Public Library to see the latest squirrel letters, and write a letter of your own!

By practicing writing and engaging their imagination, children are strengthening the skills that help them get ready to read and learn.

Storytime happens Tuesdays at 11:00 am or 11:45 am outside the Library.  Space is limited, so register in advance online or sign up at the Library.
